How does vacuum plating work?
Also referred to as “vacuum deposition”, it involves heating the metal coating material until it vaporizes inside a vacuum chamber. The lack of pressure in this chamber drives the metal's boiling point downward. This allows the metal vapor to condensate and form a layer over the top of a substrate of your choice.

What is vacuum coating?
Vacuum coating, also known as thin-film deposition, is a vacuum chamber process whereby a very thin and steady layer of coating is applied to the surface of a substrate, protecting it from forces that might wear it down or decrease its efficiency.

What is the vacuum metalizing process?
Vacuum metalizing is the process of evaporating metals, most commonly aluminum, inside a vacuum chamber and bonding them to the desired substrate.

Is vacuum plating good?
Physical Vapor Deposition, or PVD, is a vacuum coating process that produces a brilliant decorative and functional finish. PVD utilizes a titanium nitride that provides an extremely durable coating. PVD coatings are more resistant to corrosion from sweat and regular wear than gold plating.

Where is vacuum plating used?
It can be used to plate elemental, alloy or compound on metal or non-metal surfaces. It has been widely used in industrial sectors such as mechanical, aerospace, aerospace, electronics, light industry and optics to prepare wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant, conductive and magnetic.

What is the difference between metalizing and galvanizing?
Metalizing an industrial part begins with abrasive cleaning. Then, melted zinc powder or wire is applied onto the part through compressed air or combustible gases. Unlike hot-dip galvanizing, where the metal's temperature increases while dipped in molten zinc, the metal's temperature stays the same during metalizing.
